Terms of service

The service

Nexor is software for designing dental appliances from intraoral scans. It produces a mesh file. It does not manufacture anything, and it does not practise dentistry.

We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.

A workspace owner decides who is invited and what role they hold, and is responsible for removing people who should no longer have access.

Acceptable use

Do not upload content you have no right to upload. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Do not use it to do anything unlawful.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of those things, and we will tell you why.

Export credits and billing

A plan includes a number of export credits per billing period. One credit is one manufactured item, as described on the pricing page. Designing, re-running a step and generating a report cost nothing.

Unused credits do not carry over. Where a plan allows exports beyond its allowance, those are billed at the rate shown for that plan.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include tax. We will give notice before a price changes.

Cancelling

You may cancel at any time. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and is not renewed after that.

We do not refund a period that has already begun, except where the law requires it.

Your content, our software

Your scans, your cases and the designs produced from them are yours. We claim no ownership of them, and you may export them at any time.

You grant us only the permission we need to store and process that content in order to provide the service.

The software, the site and everything in them remain ours.

Clinical responsibility

Nexor is a design tool used by a professional. The clinician decides whether an appliance is indicated, reviews the design, and is responsible for what is manufactured and fitted.

We do not provide clinical advice, and a result produced by the software is not a clinical judgement.

Availability

We work to keep Nexor available and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Nexor at any time. We may end the agreement if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right after we have asked.

When the agreement ends you will have a reasonable opportunity to export your content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Québec have jurisdiction.
